Network Dinner Program - Treasury of the Episcopal Palace guided tour

          Treasury of the Episcopal Palace

In the 20th century the episcopal residency and its gardens were installed with numerous bugging devices, therefore it was also used as a secure underground path. On a lighter note, the western wing of the passage did serve as a wine cellar during these years. A tunnel with such a significant past is a truly exceptional environment to demonstrate the dark and dangerous days of Communist religious persecutions.

          21:00 – 21:45
Network Dinner Program - Visit at the Secret Underground Passage

Secret Underground Passage - Bishopric of Pécs

The underground corridor linking the Palace Garden with the Granary already existed at the end of the Middle Ages. The long history tunnel and exhibition shows the decades of communist dictatorship for the participants.

The event agenda's time zone is CEST.
